Introduction

The DZ3320C high-temperature differential thermal analyzer, produced by Nanjing Dazhan Testing Instruments, is a high-temperature instrument with a temperature range from room temperature to 1550℃. It adopts an intelligent temperature control system, allowing for temperature elevation, setting of multi-stage heating rates, and an open-lid furnace design, facilitating convenient sample testing. Equipped with software analysis, it can perform real-time acquisition of measurement spectra and automatically generate reports, among other advantages.


Differential thermal analysis (DTA) is a technique that measures the relationship between temperature difference and temperature between a substance and a reference material under programmed temperature control. The DTA curve describes the relationship between temperature difference (ΔT) between the sample and the reference material as a function of temperature or time. In DTA experiments, the change in sample temperature is caused by endothermic or exothermic effects of phase transitions or reactions, such as phase transitions, melting, changes in crystal structure, boiling, sublimation, evaporation, dehydrogenation reactions, cracking or decomposition reactions, oxidation or reduction reactions, destruction of lattice structure, and other chemical reactions.
